Scholarships/Grants

Also, Generosity New Zealand (formerly known as Breakout) has an online search tool which has access to $3.9 billion worth of opportunities. Although there is usually a charge to use this service, there are two ways to access this database.

If you are using the school network you can access the site for free (as it uses the school IP address). Just go into the school Intranet and access using the link under Generosity NZ.

If you are outside of the school network and have an Auckland City Library Card, you are also eligible to use the service for free.

What happens if you are not a member of the Auckland Library? No problem. Any student at Albany Senior High School is entitled to have a Auckland Library Card. If you are under 18, you need your parents' proof of address, proof of identity and your own Student's ID. Pop down to the Library with this information to apply for the card.

Once you have this, go to the Auckland Library where you can enter your Library Card Number and your Surname. This will open up the entire scholarship database for you to choose from!
